Reading your reports and insights
Reports has two parts. The charts work offline, straight from the sales on your phone. Deeper analysis runs statistics on your sales and needs an internet connection.
The charts
- Tap Reports at the bottom of the screen.
- Choose 7 days or 30 days at the top.
- Revenue
- What you took in over the period.
- Margin
- How much of every peso of sales you kept as profit.
- Avg sale
- The average amount of one sale.
- Best day
- Tap any day on the chart to see its total. Your best day of the period is labelled.
- Profit collected
- Profit from sales you’ve been paid for (Actual) against the profit you’ll have once all credit is paid (Expected). The gap is profit still waiting on credit.
- Payment mix
- How your customers paid.
- Busiest hours
- When your sales happen, with the Peak hour marked.
- Top sellers
- Your products ranked by Most units sold. That isn’t the same as most profit: a product with a thin margin, like rice or phone load, can sell the most and earn the least.
Get your insights
- Scroll down to Deeper analysis and tap Generate insights.
- Watch the short ad. If no ad is available, Numa carries on without one.
- When Your insights are ready appears, tap See your insights.
- Tap to move from one insight to the next. Share this shares the one on screen, and Done closes them.
To work out your insights, Numa sends anonymous daily totals, never your customers or individual sales. The privacy policy has the details.
No connection? You’ll see Check your internet and try again. The charts still work.
To run it again with newer sales, tap Refresh.
Reading an insight
Each insight is one card:
- The headline
- What happened, in a sentence.
- The detail
- The numbers behind it.
- The suggestion
- Something you could do about it, when there is one.
- Confidence
- How sure the statistics are: High, Medium or lower, with three marks filled in to match. Treat a low-confidence insight as something to watch, not something to act on yet.
- The colour
- Blue is good news, red is worth a look, and dark blue is for information.
Insights get more reliable the more days of sales Numa has to work with.
